Background...
During most of the 1980s, Horst worked as an independent consultant for SRI International and various pharmaceutical companies. In June of 1991, he joined Menlo Biomedical Associates, Inc. While at Menlo Biomedical in the mid 90s, Horst developed the first Internet based disease market information service. In May of 2000, he joined London based Isis Research when Isis acquired Menlo Biomedical, and Harbor Web was put into hibernation. In late 2003, Isis was acquired by Synovate Healthcare, and Horst returned to small business consulting.

Harbor Web is based in Brookings, OR, and maintains relationships with a network of Internet and business consultants on the East and West coasts, Canada, the U.K., and Switzerland.

Harbor Web provides  general business consulting services focusing on risk assessment, market forecasting, and sales and marketing strategies.
